The first Argentinians

Santa Rosa de Calchines
Santa Rosa de Calchines does not have date of foundation. To its origin is related it to the moment at which the Indigenous Reduction San Miguel of the Calchines is based in the place. The natives next to the missionary Fray Antonio Rossi initiate the construction of the temple in 1861 and she culminates the work three years later.

• PROVINCIAL CELEBRATION OF THE TAMING: Organized by the Commemorative Association of First It is mistaken. It is realised in proximity to the 15 of November of every year, in adhesion to the anniversary of the foundation of the city of Santa Fe. It selects the riders who will represent the province in the National Festival of Taming and Folklore of Jesus Maria. Instituted by Provincial Decree 3908 of 1974.
• ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDATION OF SANTA FE: All the 15 of November of every year, the Government of the Province establishes his soothes in the site of Santa Fe the Old man, where the city was based that gave rise to the Province. Established by Law 6184/66.
